Its been a lonnnng time....

Well I am doing pretty good. I've has some problems sleeping. Going to sleep isn't that bad it is staying asleep. I keep waking up around 2:00 or 3:00. But we are working on that.
Terry is good. He has a new job position that he is not real happy about. He has to work weekends some times and that is hard on him and us.
Baseball has started back. Timmy is playing travel play for the Lynn Haven Dolphins and their practice started in January. We played our 1st tournament to see how they would do and it was awesome! We won the first 2 games on Friday night and then played on Sunday to see who goes to the championship game and we did! And then we won the championship. They played so hard and looked really good! Timmy is at 1st base again and is loving it! It makes me so nervous. He is playing rec ball for the Giants this year. I don't know if I will be going to the Dolphin practices anymore. I'll have to take him but I can leave when Terry gets there. They were so hard on them last night. After they played awesome this past weekend and then everything they did was wrong last night. I want to stay for practice but I don't know if I can handle the yelling for some reason. I've sat there for almost a year so I don't know why it is bothering me now. I havee to stay tonight because Terry II and Terry I are going out to eat with co-workers. And then Timmy is spending the night with Gramma and Papa. Well, I'm gonna go for now and hopefuly it won't take me as long to blog next time.

What a weekend...

Good morning, I guess I would say it is a good morning. We spent the weekend in Dothan for a baseball tournament. We lost our 1st game on Saturday and then won the next game. We were pumped! Sunday morning we won our 1st game which was awesome by the way and then lost the next which meant we would go home. Timmy had a bad play and a couple of guys sccored because of it and he was pulled out of the game. Terry was pretty upset with him and he was crying. Iknow there isn't supossed to be crying in baseball but I think it is just fine. Timmy wasn't hustling and that is why Terry was so upset. I was upset at Terry and we had a silent drive home. He has practice tonight and I pray he hustles and does his best! He can do it! That is what upsets Terry. Well tonight we have girls night @ Mynta and Matt's Mexican resturant so I pray again he does his best! I hate to see him upset whether it is hurt feelings or hurt from an injury. But besides that game we had a great time. :-) Blog soon...

First day back...

Well the first day of school wasn't as bad as last year. I cried on the way to school when I heard one of my favorite songs. And then after I got back into the car driving down the road. Timmy is so excited now for school. He likes to get to school early so he can play on the playground with his friends. That makes me feel good! I have worked out the past three days (not as much today because I had to get blood work. I have been busy though. once I got home yesterday I dusted the house and cleaned Timmy's bathroom. and then I left at 1:15 to go run some errands and then went to pick Timmy up. He had a great 1st day back and is meeting new friends. I finished cleaning today, cleaned our bath and mopped the floor. I am so proud of my floor when it is clean! I have been updating my calendar on the computer and syncing it with my Blackberry. Doing the little things that go undone.

We are having a girls night out on Mon. the 29th and I am so excited! We are having it at Los Antjiois from 6-8

The day is near!

Good afternoon. Where has the day gone and the summer. Today is our last day of summer and I am just a little sad. Not like before! I think this has been to best so far. Timothy has been saying over and over that he didn't want to start school and finally yesterday he said "you know mom I am a little excited about school starting!" Whoo...hoo!
Recap our summer...Timmy made Allstars this ummer in baseball and then everyone decided to keep them all together and start a traveling team call the Lynn Haven Dolpins. So he has been practicing and having tournaments all summer. It has been a lot of fun! We are getting ready for a tournament for this weekend on Saturday. So this week I tried to have fun. We went to Frank Brown Park on Wed and today he has a friend over to play today! Well like I said before I didn't cry when Timmy turned 8 and I am trying to enjoy the age he is and enjoy life itself!

Almost over...

Well summer is coming to an end. We went to our 2nd tournament the . We didn't win but we played awesome the 2nd game. We don't know who was on the field the 1st game because they sure didn't look like our guys! Anyhu! They did receive medals for last place. We ate at Ruby Tuesday's on Sat. night and had a blast with most of the team. It is nice to get to just hang out with the other teammates and their families.


Timmy is almost done with his summer work. It is a lot and I started in July instead of June. Bad me! There is a lot more than I thought and he is kind of slow with it but I am not complaining about him. He is through! :-)

Today we are supposed to got to Frank Brown park with some of our baseball friends. It is so nice to have a good group of people to hang around. Have a blessed day!

Never look back...

Well it has been almost a month since I blogged. We have been busy!! We usually go to Frank Brown waterpark at least twice a week. It is so much more fun when we have someone to go with! We are going today with some baseball friends. Of coarse I am going to workout 1st and my friend offered us to come to their house instead of driving over the bridge back home. we are also working on Timmy's Summer homework everyday. That is like pulling teeth! Right now he is reading a book on Derek Jeter and has to fill out info on it.

Timmy turned 8 last Thursday, the 14th! I didn't cry. I am trying to live in the moment and not dreed or be sad about him growing up. This is a process it isn't instant. He is just so smart and I amm so proud of him with school and baseball. He is doing so good and he loves it! I'm kindof enjoying it too! I have met some really nice ladies and friendships!

We had a cookout Sat. the 16th and had a blast! It was a lot of fun. Timmy got to fish and swim in the pool. It was nice to just hang out. We did have a baseball meeting but it was fun too!
I guess I need to get on with my day. Have fun and never look back! :-)

Good morning! Wow, what a weekend. We had a blast at Cape Sand Blas. We went to beach twice a day, had wonderful food and just a good time as a family. Poor Terry the first day we were there he got sun burned and couldn't go back back to the beach. He was pitiful. His chest is what was so burned and it still is. My cousin Amy, her husband and her son were here and we had a lot of fun. The family that owns the beach house have a golf cart so we would ride the cart to the beach!

Having Fun....

Good morning! It is 5:55 and I am wide awake! What happened to sleeping late in the summer, I guess that is for Timmy, he's still asleep! Well so far our summer has been fun. We have been to the beach, Frank Brown Park a couple of times actually just yesterday. And with baseball tournament and baseball practice we have been busy. My cousin Amy, her husband and their son and my grandmother came down yesterday and we are going to stay at Cape Sand Blas for 2days and 3 nights. We will leave on Father's day. Well I am sure I will have more later to talk about

Summer has begun.....

Hey Guys! Summer has begun. I have been so ready for summer this year. We spent Monday and Tuesday of this week at the beach. On Tuesday Timmy took a friend so that was a lot of fun.

Timmy was picked to be on the All star team at Lynn Haven. My first reaction was no, not my baby! But once I thought about it he will have a blast and this is a once in a life time thing. The coach is harder than I would like but I guess I need to get used to it. He doesn't cuse at them.Timmy has a tournament the 11th and 12th and in Pensacola or Gulf Breeze on the 24th and 25th of June.

Everything else is good too. I clean our house on Wednesdays and my Mom's on Thursday. So we will go to the beach or Frank Brown Park on Fridays. Our cousin and her son and husband are coming in June. So that should be fun! Well I'm sure I will post again soon! Have a great day!

Can you say nervous...

Well can you say nervous! We are going to startt moving at the end of this week. We still need power. I am praying someone comes out today! I think I will be able to breathe again hen we are actually living there. The boxes aren't going to bother me but I am sure they won't be here for long. Please say a prayer for my anxiety of moving again! :-)

Gettin ready to move...

Well the move is almost here. We closed on our house on Friday the 11th! They still have some minor things to fix before we actually move in. I am excited but I have definitley gotten comfortable here at my father-n-laws. I am not one for change but I know it is an awesome thing, we have a brand new home! Terry is off Thurs. and Fri. and next week ao we will start moving on Thurs.!!! Timmy is doing great! He has been playing baseball since March and will play through May. It's a lot of fun for me and of course it is fun for Timmy and Terry. Terry is helping coach which that is something he said he wouldn't do!!! He usually has 2 games a week and he has one tonight! His friend Byron is on the team and they have fun. Of course he plays for the Braves and my team is the Yankees. I guess I can pull for little league Braves, since he is my son!!! I still miss Priss, I think of her often! Well everyone have a wonderful afternoon. The weather is beautiful here in Florida :-)

Prissy...

Sorry to be posting again so soon. But we buried our family dog yesterday afternoon! Timmy found Prissy laying on her side with her tongue hanging out. It was awful.We could tell she wasn't breathing. I was home most of the day so I don't know how long she was laying there. She wasn't real stiff so probably not to long! We buried her 2ft. from our house in the back yard. She had an episode on Wed. where she was on her side and holoring out, which upset me very much so I am glad she is not in any pain now. I do believe that dogs go to heaven and we all will see her one day with her new not hurting body! She will be missed by us all!

Coming along...

Good afternoon! Well our house is coming along. They have finished most of the painting and laid down the tile. They still have the floors, the grout on the tile, the fans and light fixtures. I am really excited and also scared at the same time. Living somewhere
different scares me.

Prissy is getting old. I heard her yesterday screaming and laying stiff. She just was screaming and it really upset me. I just don't want her in any pain!

Timmy's homework stresses me out! I don't knowif that is normal or not but I just pray that he understands it every afternoon. I guess I just hope that I understand it. ha!
Well that is all for now and our house comes along I will definetly update!

Long time no see...

Whow it has been a long time since I blogged. Where did January go?? From the last time I posted my face pigmentations have come back. The procedure lasted apptox. 3 weeks. All that for nothing. The right side of my face isn't as bad a the left. So yea, I amjust a little discouraged and disappointed.

Everything is going well with the house. Our cabinets in the bathrooms, the kitchen and the countertops are finished in the house and they are beautiful! I can not wait till we move in. Sometimes it even feels like a dream. I was a little nervous about moving again but now I am beside myself with excitment now!

Timmy has started baseball again. This year it is couch pitch instead of the tee. He is loving it. He has been to 2 practices so far. The actual season starts the week of March 21.


Terry is feeling much better lately, he is taking off Wed. nights the month of March so that will be a nice break. Also, he can take Timmy to practice and he knows more about what he should be doing! Not Momma! Well I guess that is all for now everyone have a wonderful rest of the week and a great weekend!

Happy New Year...

Well we still have not seen Maddie yet. I miss her a lot and I am a little scared to see her again. Timmy keeps asking whena re we going to see her. Anyway maybe in a few weeks.
We had a great Christmas, Terry got a DVD/Blue ray with WiFi and clothes etc, Timmy got some new Nike's that have orange on them, an orange bike, clothes, Football Wii game, which he loves. I ended up with a wonderful $100 gift certificate for pedicures, a beautiful heart necklace and earrings. From my mom and dad I (we) got a new bedspread that is brown and blue, some tops etc. We were going out to Pier Park for New Year's and I had a procedure on my face and I look hidius right now so I think Terry and Timmy are going to go out there without me Well I'll go for now and blog some more later

Where do I start...

Well we have had a lot of changes since the 7th of October. We are now living with my father-n-law in Lynn Haven. He lives alone so it totally worked out for us to move in to the other two bedrooms. Our slab is being poured today hopefully as we speak! This is the the 1st progress on the house. I will drive up on Friday and take a picture. I am going to take a picture every week to see the progress and make a scrapbook. It is taking a while to get all our addresses changed, I have been working on that today. I cleaned my mom's carpet this morning early! So it should be dry this afternoon. Timmy and I usually go over there and work on his homework and then visit with gramma when she gets home but not on Wed. we get ready for church.
MOPS is going well. We meet the 1st and3rd of each month so we met yesterday and will meet again on the 18th of Jan. Yesterday was a small group, getting close to Christmas. I enjoy spending time with Kirsten, a childhood friend.
Well about Maddie we haven't been to see her yet, I am kindof dreeding it. I want to see her her but I already miss her as it is. Maybe later this week we can schedule a time with her new owners. Post some new news soon!

Losing a family member...

Good morning! Wow we are having beautiful weather here in Florida. We have some new news that is very hard to talk about. We have decided to give Maddie to another family. We are getting ready to build a house and Terry is not wanting a privacy fence. Maddie has to have a fence or she will go wild! We are also going to live with Terry's dad while the house is being built so if we had Maddie it would make 3 dogs in the house. I am truly going to miss her and I will always love her! She has become part of our family. We take her to her new owners @ 5:00 today. so please pray especially for Timmy!

Well, today my dad turned "60" wow, it blows my mind. We have are having a fun celebration this weekend out at Laketown Wharf. My grandmother, aunt(dad's sister), cousin and her little boy and I think that is it. We are having a big cookout Sat night! We are going out there Fri and coming home Mon. We will still go to church on Sunday. Well I guess that is all the new news from the Tatum family, hope everyone has a wonderful day, take it one step at a time! 8-)

GO Noles...

I am not sure what is wrong with me I am blogging two days in a row! Not like me! Last night we ate at Red Elephant and ran into some friends of course! Then we headed to the Mosley vs. bay football game. Terry and I were definitely there for Timmy. I wanted to be in my PJ's watching TV. Timmy loves to go to the football games and play in the end zone. He got to play with his friend Mason so he was in heaven. We stayed a little after half time and then we left it was after 9:00! Wow, i am getting old!
Today I slept so late for me, it was 9:00 when I got out of bed. Then I headed to Mom and Dad's to clean, I normally clean on Fridays. Terry and Timmy mowed the grass today and FSU plays at 3:30 so I know Terry will be up from his nap by then!

I forgot to mention how Maddie is doing, I think we have decided to take her to obedience training. they have it at Pet smart and it starts on the 2nd of Oct. every Sat for 8 weeks.

A lot has happened...

Wow, a lot has happened since my last post. It took me about two weeks to get used to Timmy being gone during the day. I went to my counselor yesterday and he said it I need to get my Carrie hat on as an intelligent, capable of making decisions women. My Momma hat has been on all summer and now it is time to change. I always have my wife hat on so at least I do that. He is a really nice Christian man and I like that. I go back to see him next week.

Terry has been really busy lately with work, preaching and being a good husband and dad! He is getting ready to go to Birmingham at the end of this month for some schooling he has to do through the Methodist church.
It has almost been a year since we started the adoption process and we have to update our material. The lady is coming Tuesday for our home update and we have to get physicals, background checks etc. It is a very busy month.

Terry was off on Labor day (which was nice) and we had 2 passes for Shipwreck so we went and we had a blast!
Well I guess we will meet again the next time I blog! :-)

Getting better...

Well, things are moving right along. Timmy in school is getting better. I still miss him so much! He is my little buddy. He is enjoying school more. At first he knew 1 child in his class but he is starting to meet people through recess and lunch time. He was so funny yesterday, he had crackers left and his sandwich left and I asked him why he didn't eat and he said it was because he was talking! Imagine that one! I think what I miss most about Timmy is staying up late and watching movies! Well I don't have much to say today so everyone have a nice day and stay dry if you live here in PC!
