We are back!!!

Oh, we had a great time on our vacation. We went on a 4 night Disney cruise. It was absolutely awesome. We went to the Bahamas and then to Castaway Cay(Disney's private island). In the Bahamas we went to the straw market, the Hard Rock cafe and then to some other shops around.On Castaway Cay we laid out on the beach, Timmy and Terry played in the water and we had a good barbecue provided by the ship. Every day Timmy and Terry would take their naps and I would go workout. It was very different walking on the treadmill and looking at the beautiful blue ocean. Every time we went back to our room in the evening we had a cute animal made with towels. And of course some candy on the bed. It was great.

When we got off the ship on Thursday morning we headed to Jacksonville to see Terry's mom and step dad for a few days. We ended up getting a new puppy on Friday the 2nd she is a black pug and she is 9 weeks old. She is the cutest thing. Abbie (Terry's mom) and I went to get pedicures on Thursday afternoon and it was wonderful! So then we headed to Marianna on Saturday morning to spend the night and then we had church on Sunday morning. Maddie is the puppy's name and she is doing good. We had some pooping issues but she is doing much better the past two days. She whines a lot when we leave so I picked up a baby gate at the local consignment shop so hopefully it will help her. She is put up when we are gone from the house. Well I will try to post some pictures and everyone have a great afternoon and weekend!!!

Here we come!

This has been a busy week especially mentally! I helped in Timmy's room for the 1st time on Wednesday. I had fun, I helped with there project! This week is the letter "B" so they made "B"ee hats. The were cute. Timmy had a doctors appt yesterday for his well check. They gave him the flue mist instead of the shot! But he did have to get one Hepatitis A shot in the leg! It hurt him but he didn't cry much at all. He is such a big boy! Braver than me!
So with packing and getting ready for our vacation I am exhausted thinking of the things we might forget! This morning I had a rough time getting everything straight in my mind. I had to find the emergency contact info which the travel agency has been wonderful with all my silly little questions! I guess they are not silly since this is our firist one! Well everyone have a nice weekend and week and I'll be back on the 4th of Oct. See ya... =)

Where have I been...

Good morning! Today is a great day even though it is raining and has been raining off and on all week! Well I'll start with last week, it was a good one. Timmy's school had Open House and Terry got to see his classroom and see Mrs. Rogers. Friday night Terry, Me, Heather and Jeremy went to see Kenny Chesney in Tallahassee. He was great! We ate at Mellow Mushroom and it was delicious. Saturday was my grandmother's 82nd birthday and she is still going strong! She is amazing.
This week has been good I got most of my cleaning done on Monday, all but vacuuming and mopping so I finished on Tuesday. Tuesday night Terry and I had a viewing to go to in Grand Ridge and then the funeral on Wednesday. I came on back home and Terry stayed up there through Wednesday night. There was no since in me driving home to pick Timmy up from school and then drive back to Grand Ridge so Timmy and I stayed here. Terry had a long day and was pretty tired. He'll sleep good tonight! So today I went grocery shopping and need to pick up laundry at the cleaners. Sam's is on my list but am dreading it so I don't know when I'll get there. Our cruise date is getting closer, I want to start packing this weekend or Monday. Timmy still doesn't know anything about it so it is hard to start packing! Well God is good...all the time. New day...

"TODAY IS A NEW DAY AND IT IS GOING TO BE A GOOD ONE!" That is my quote for the day...Well this morning has been much better than week. Last week was a little blur with tears but not today! I went and worked out this morning and I think that helped me a lot. It has been so long I only worked out on the Octane elliptical for 25 minutes and then worked out my legs and arms. Now I am in the process of cleaning. I am taking a break. I am also trying real hard to watch my calories this next few weeks before our cruise. I have 2 two pieces that I would like to wear if I stick to good eating habits! I try to keep each meal 300 calories except breakfast, I just can't eat it most days. Timmy said he didn't want to go to school today but I know it is just because it is Monday. Him and Terry worked on his homework last night, they were so cute. He even learned how to spell a word last week "RED". I was so proud! He is going to learn so much this year, I can't wait to see what he learns this week! Well, I just have to mop and I get to use my new shark steam mop that my parents got me for my birthday! I am so excited!

Rough week...

Well sorry I didn't get back to you Monday afternoon. This has been a very tiring week. Tuesday was the worst I couldn't stop crying. Every time I thought of Timmy being in kindergarten I would cry. Wednesday he was home with me again so it started again yesterday. I am hoping that Monday will be good and there will be no more tears. I think having a full week of him going to school will help me. I haven't worked out this week which is not good. It is such a stress reliever for me and I have plenty of time to workout and then come home and shower and still run errands. I don't know what it is about your child starting "BIG" school but it hits me in the heart! Well today has been productive, I almost forgot about cleaning my mom & dad's. so I ran over there and cleaned, came home and worked on the CD's for church, vacuumed and I also watched our video on the cruise, it was nice. I think we are going to let Timmy watch it and tell him about the cruise itself. We have a month from yesterday!! I am really excited about it. We all need a vacation, especially Terry! Orientation

Well, today is orientation from 8-10 this morning. I am sure he wil do well, I am the one that may not. I can't believe this day is here for him to start kindergarten. I don't want to say anything derogatory about it at all, so I tired not to talk about it this past weekend. So please say a prayer for him, me, Mrs. Rogers and all the staff at Lynn Haven Elem. I will update this afternoon...

WOW. I can't believe I am blogging 2 days in a row. Anyway, yesterday was a good day. We ended up eating lunch at Luigi B' Gi's (wrong spelling) , it is an Italian restaurant that my sister-n-law USED to work at. We thought she still did. But of course Timmy still wanted to eat there. Right now I am trying to get awake with my coffee but it hasn't kicked in yet. Last night was a good night at church. We watched our Beth Moore video for this week and got our work sheets. My goal is to finish it all! Terry had to meet with a couple so Timmy and I went over to one of the couples house that are so nice to invite us. We pout a puzzle together and have a good time, broke one of the pieces but it was still good. We both wanted to put the last piece of puzzle down! It was so funny :-)
Timmy is so competitive which is good but also can be challenging sometimes. I guess I need to finish my coffee and get dressed, ready to hit the grocery stores...Have a blessed day!
