Great weekend...

Good morning! what a beautiful day in Florida! I think the freezing cold weather is gone, hopefully! Well last weekend we left on Friday and met some friends from church at their house for dinner. We also stayed in a hotel in Marianna and left Saturday morning to go to Tallahassee. We stayed with my father-n-law and some friends that live in Tallahassee. We went to the Florida State vs. West Virginia basketball game and had a blast! It was a lot of fun the game was at night and it was wet and cold! Timmy had a great time and that is all that matters! So then Sunday morning we left for Grand Ridge, it was closer for us to leave from Tallahassee then our own home!

Timmy has had some adjustments going back to school! He was off Monday for MLK day and he will be out of school this Friday too. so next week we get back to the normal schedule and the adjustments for that week. It should even out next week. I really want him to like school and want to go. He enjoys it once he gets there, it's just getting him there! He is doing great with his reading, it amazing me to watch a kid learn to read! God is surely good! I will post some pictures from the game!

Back to school...

Well, this day is going good. I dropped Timmy off at school this morning and then headed to the gym. Today was my 1st day of working out and eating right for the year. I did good with the working out part but eating healthy wasn't as good! Timmy was sad last night because he had to start back to school today. He was a lot better this morning and he was smiling when I left him at school, which is a good sign. I was a little sad too! Then I cleaned the house, dusted, vacuumed, and cleaned the bathrooms. I still have to mop the floor this afternoon after I pick Timmy up. I went out to Target and Walmart and found one sweatshirt that was gray, I was looking for a red or blue but they didn't have his size. I guess I need to be grateful that I found one! And then I got myself Taco Bell, which is one of my cravings once a month (if you know what I mean) I tried that 5 layer burrito, had to before I officially start my diet! It was delicious! Well I guess I'll go for now and will update soon...

What a busy time of the year...

Wow! It has been a while since I blogged....we have been busy getting ready for Christmas and getting ready for Timmy's Christmas party at school and him being out of school for two weeks! We are on our second week off. About the Christmas party, it turned out really good. We had the cutest snowmen made of donut holes! I will post a picture. We had the snowmen donuts and breakfast casserole which all of it was yummy! We have been going over to mom and dad's in the morning and I was totally motivated last week to exercise and this week I have been a dud! I have had intentions the past two days but haven't made it to the gym! Next week starts my goal of lossing 15 lbs.! I think I can, I think I can! Christmas was great, not just for all the wonderful presents but also for all the time we have had with family. We had Christmas brunch at Mom and Dad's and then eat we ate Christmas night at our house with my in-laws! And then Saturday we had everyone over again! We had a great time... I hope everyone has a Happy New Year in case I don't blog before then!

Fun weekend...

This past weekend was a blast! Me, Terry, and two other friends from Buffalo Rock went to the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. Dr. Pepper sponsored it and Terry won a package that included our tickets, hotel, and food for most of our meals. They had a party on Friday night with food at the Georgia Aquarium. That was the most amazing place. Then Saturday morning they had a buffet breakfast and then Fanfare where they had all different companies that had booths and you could get free stuff! I had my picture made with the Mor Chickin guy/girl. I will post pictures. Our hotel was connected to the CNN building and they had a lot of shops and food places in there. We got Timmy a Braves Chipper Jones jersey, which he loved. And we both got a shirt. The game was awesome, not just because my team won but it was a nice stadium! We got home around 1:30 or 1:45 on Sunday afternoon. It was nice to get away but we were glad to see Timmy and the dogs! My mom was so nice to keep Timmy and our two dogs. Well yesterday it was back to reality, I cleaned the house actually I got everything done yesterday which leaves me plenty of time to do some wrapping! I can't put the present under the tree yet, Maddie will get them! Talk to ya soon :-)

Flew by...

Good morning! Wow, last week flew by. I really enjoyed having Timmy with me last week and we spent a lot of time at Gramma's too. Thanksgiving was great. We had lunch at Mom and Dad's and of course I ate too much! Then that night we got together with the other side of my family. We talked and of course laughed a lot. We drew our names for Christmas which was fun. I am almost totally done with Christmas shopping. I have some more stocking stuff to get and that is it! Whoa, that feels good! This week has been good so far, Monday we had a viewing to go to and then yesterday I cleaned the house, the only cleaning I have to do today is the floor! I am helping in Timmy's classroom and taking a toy back to Target! Well I need to get that toy out of my closet before a little someone gets up! Talk to ya soon...

Slowing down...for now!

Good morning! We had a busy week last week and this past weekend. Wednesday, started our Revival at on of the churches in Grand Ridge. Terry had meetings in Birmingham and he was gone Tuesday and Wednesday night. We picked him up at the 231 exit and then headed to Grand Ridge for the Revival on Thursday night. And it was at our church on Friday night. Then early Sat. morning me, Timmy and my mom headed to Grand Bay(right outside of Mobile) to my cousin's baby shower. It was a lot of fun. We did a little shopping/looking before the shower and ate lunch at O'Charley's. So we were stuffed when we got to the shore. Timmy had a ball playing with the neighbor kids in the woods and on there trampoline. So then, we meet Terry at the Hardee's on 231 and we headed to Sneads to spend the night and then Sunday went to church! Whoa! Oh, I almost for got abut Timmy's PowWow on Friday, it was adorable! They sang so good and had speaking parts they did an awesome job! I will post some pictures.This week Timmy is out of school all week which is nice and Terry is going to be off the day after Thanksgiving too! I have most of my Christmas shopping done so that is a good thing! Well I am taking Timmy to Chick-fil-a today, this will be his 1st time in 2 1/2 months(since school started). He is so excited!
