Wow! It's Friday

Good morning! Wow, Friday is already here. This week has gone by so fast. Yesterday I had lunch with an old friend and it was so nice to see her and find out what has been going on in her life. Today we are going to clean my mom & dad's house and then we are running by the church to do a few things for my mom. Lynn Haven Methodist has Hope for the Heart woman's weekend every year and it is this weekend. My mom is hosting two tables so everyone can sit together. We have 5 ladies from Shady Grove coming in today and staying the night and will go back home on Saturday when it is over around 2:30. I am really excited for them to get to experience a Hope for the Heart.
I am so blessed to have so many sister-n-laws to watch Timmy. Oh! This is usually right when baseball season starts and Terry has games tonight and 2 out of town tomorrow. My sister-n-law is watching Timmy both tonight and tomorrow. To top it off, he has his first T-ball practice tomorrow and I will miss it! Anywho, life will go on (as Terry says)and I can see the next one, right.
Well I need to start my day and get going so everyone have a great day.....

The weather has been beautiful today, it doesn't feel like winter that is for sure! Today starts Lent so it is my first day without any soft drinks or sweets but the soft drinks are going to be the hardest for me. It really is a good thing to do, give up something that I really enjoy. I worked out for a little while this morning not long enough. I helped in Timmy's room today. They had a tea party first thin and they were so cute. They had cookies and marshmallows and lemonade as there tea! They had everything set up in his teacher's room and the other 4 year old class came in when Timmy's class was done. They all acted so well. After that I ran to the bank and to Walgreens to pick up some pictures. Since I finally finished Timmy's baby book I am going to start on his other scrapbook starting when he was 3 years old and so on.....I am excited. I am getting all the pictures together in order by year. This one will be a little different, I plan on making it more of a collage on each page(or year).
Today Timmy didn't want to take his nap but I insisted since he will be up later tonight with church and all. Please say a prayer for me, I am helping to lead the Bible study tonight at church....

Lent

Good afternoon...It is nice to get back into my normal routine. Usually, I clean on Monday and Tuesday. I still have a few things to do. Our church, Shady Grove Methodist has started a Bible study a few weeks ago. It is a Beth Moore study called Beloved Disciple, the study on John. I have had to play catch-up because I got a little behind but it is very interesting. Especially right here at Lent(which is tomorrow). I have finally decided my two things that I am going to give up and they are sodas (Pepsi max I will miss so much) and sweets (candy and desserts). This will be really hard but I know I can do it especially if I pray every time I want one(Pepsi Max). I have 1/2 of one in the fridge for this afternoon and I am going to get a chocolate covered ice cream cone(my favorite) from Dairy Queen tonight as my farewell. I think the sodas are going to be harder than the sweets. Well I need to clean the floor and pick up around the house some.
Timmy had a good day at school today no timeouts and they are on the letter T how fun since his names start with T. Have a great afternoon....

Back home

This past weekend was a lot of fun. We got on the road around 6:30 Friday morning and arrived in Knoxville around 3:00. It wasn't as long as it sounded! Friday night we ran a few errands and then ate at a restaurant called Calhoun's, which was wonderful. You know I am all about eating! Saturday we had the wedding shower which was nice. Ashley(my sister-n-law) got some nice gifts and the shower was at Calhoun's, this one was on the river (they have a couple of locations) Then we went for Ashley's fitting for her wedding dress, which was beautiful! We also ran a couple of errands to Target for Timmy's toy (I promised him a surprise) and to Jo Ann's fabrics , etc. We were all pretty tired so we munched on chips and dip and then ordered pizza. And then we woke up Sunday morning to snow! How cool was that. I have attached a few pictures. It was a nice weekend and I really enjoyed spending time with my mother-n-law and sister-n-laws.......

Last night's Revival was great. One of our pastors at our old church was the speaker and he did a great job. Everyone was very welcoming and it was nice to see new faces from other churches. Terry is going back tonight but I am going to stay home and get packed for Knoxville and spend some time with Timmy. He doesn't want me to go. He got upset a few minutes ago but I told him I would bring him a surprise back and that helped! Today was good, I went grocery shopping and burned Terry's sermon Cd's. I also tanned for a few minutes, I couldn't stay still the whole time so I cut it short. Timmy is watching Batman again so I think I'll join him in the movie. Everyone have a nice weekend and I'll post more on Monday...

Good afternoon! Today is a much better day than yesterday. Last night Terry took me and Timmy to Beef O'Brady's for dinner since it was the last night for us to eat as a family until Monday night. Our revival at church is tonight, tomorrow night and Friday night. They are having a fun day on Saturday at he Pentecostal church in Shady Grove. Each night is at a different church and our night to host is tonight. Terry's sister Heather is watching Timmy tonight and she is taking him to the arcade in the mall. They have a balloon area that he can run around and around in, he loves it and she'll get him probably Chick-fil-a.
And Friday morning at 6:00 am I am going to Knoxville, TN with my mother-n-law and sister-n-law Kelsey. My sister-n-law Ashley is getting married in March and some of her friends are having her a wedding shower on Saturday. I am excited but also I little nervous leaving Terry and Timmy! Timmy keeps putting my suitcase back in the closet because to him I am not going.
Today I helped in Timmy's room, they are on the letter S so they have made snakes and today they made spiders. They were cute, they glued the eyes and the legs on. Kids and glue are hilarious! I also had my hair trimmed this afternoon, Whew Hew! It needed it. I am trying to do good with my eating and I made brownies for tonight and I had to eat some of the crumbs(yummy).

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello! How was everyones Valentine's Day? Mine was good. I got a heart shaped pizza especially made by my husband and son, with my name cut out out with the pepperoni. It was so cute and good too. My husband was very creative when we were dating and he found a pizza place downtown that made me a heart shaped pizza. This one was better! Sunday we had a birthday dinner at my parents house for my niece, she turned 20 years old last week. We had a good time and we got to meet her new boyfriend!
Today has been good, I was really dreading today for some reason. I sometimes get like that on Sunday nights. Everyone goes back to work and things get busy with preschool, the gym, errands that need to be run. I know it is life but some days are harder than others. Today I took our printer to the shop, it is broke. The were real nice, I took it to Toner Tech. Timmy didn't take a nap today, I was in the middle of cleaning and then folding lots of laundry so tomorrow he is for sure taking one. Well let me go so I can hang up some rugs and turn another load of laundry on. Have a great afternoon.........
