This is the day that the Lord has made.....

Good morning! Yesterday we tried to go to Frank Brown water park but the kiddie pool was closed. So we came home, Timmy wasn't feeling well anyway and I cleaned. That is what I should have been doing anyway on Mondays. But we have a fun day planned ahead. We are going to call Frank Brown and see if the kiddie pool is open, if it isn't we are going to the jetty's(state park) Terry said I could get a pass for there so I am excited! I told Timmy we would go over to the gulf side and play some. He loves the rocks and of course they make me nervous! I just love the beach and water. I'm not sure what I'd do if we lived somewhere else, it is just beautiful.

I am starting to get a little nervous about him starting school. We still have 2 months but this summer is flying by this year. Usually it just creeps along. I called yesterday to find out what Lynn Haven's colors were for Timmy's shirts. I know he has to grow up but it is still hard for me. In the last month he has learned to ride his bike without training wheels and he knows how to tie his shoe too. I helped him with his bike and Terry taught him to tie his shoes. It is nice to share responsibility. Well, I guess I'll go for now everyone have a great day :-)

Yeah! Tomorrow is Friday.......

Good morning. I am up bright and early today. I actually woke up with my alarm clock. I try to get at least one cup of coffee in before Timmy wakes up. I try too. Today is the last day of swim lessons, Timmy has done great but he won't pass the level II to move to Level III. I want to put him in again but the class starts on the 22nd and he would miss the week of the 29th since we are leaving for Mississippi for the week. I don't know!

Anyway I think Timmy is having a fun summer. We went to Grandpa Terry's pool on Monday and Wednesday and on Tuesday we went to the beach with some friends. Timmy caught a hermit crab in his friends net too. He loves the rocks, they make me nervous. I don't know what we will do in Mississippi with no beach! Well I guess I'll go for now. What a great week...

Well, today we are headed back to Swim lessons. Timmy is taking them at the college this time. They are very nice and it is for 2 weeks, we are on the 3rd day of week 1. He is doing great. He can go under the water without hacking and coughing! We are going to stay after the lessons and swim a little. He is so excited about it. We went to Grandpa Terry and Grandma Kim's on Monday after the lessons.

We are having VBS at Shady Grove this week. Last night was the 1st night. It was fun. I handle one of the movies that they watch. And I have the same groups throughout the week. There was one little boy that was so sweet, he just talked and talked. I am starting on Timmy's birthday party. I don't like to have last minute things to do so I am starting now. Actually it is only a month and a half away. We are having it the weekend after is birthday. His birthday falls on a Tues. this year. He is already excited about it!
Well I guess I'll go for now have a great day and remeber to smile :-)

Busy Bees!

We have been busy bees and the summer and it just started last week. I clean house our house on Mondays(most of the time) and this week I actually finished everything in one day! Go me! Tuesday Timmy got to go see Up at the Grand theater at Pier Park with his Aunt Shell and niece Katie. I had an appt so Timmy got to spend time with them while I went to my appt.

I have found my hairdresser! She sent me a litter yesterday and I was on the phone ready to make an appt, which was today at 10:00. The place was great and kid friendly. They had a play area for the kids and a DVD player for the older kids. That was a good thing because Timmy was with me.

I just have to say wow he is growing up fast. He amazes me everyday with some of the things he says. He says right now he doesn't want to go to Elementary school but I know that he will change his mind after it really gets going. Right now he is home with me and loving it. I am trying to soak up every minute of it because it won't be like this for long (like the song). We have church tonight so I guess I'd better straighten up our house a little and put away some things.

Great week!

Well this is our official 1st week out of school. So far we have gone to the beach and went to mall and rode of of those ride toys you put money in. This morning I gave him the choice of playing in the balloons and riding the toys. So he picked riding the toys and then wanted to change his min and play in the balloons. I'm sure everyone in the mall thought I was a horrible mom letting my child cry like that but oh well! So we went home after 2 rides. He was pitiful.

I finished all my cleaning on Monday which was a great feeling. And yesterday we went to the beach and had a blast. Timmy found a friend or two to play with and I met a very nice lady and had a nice conversation with her. We will probably go to the beach one more time this week, I really enjoy it and the traffic flows so well with the new construction.

Oh! Timmy can ride his bike without training wheels. He is so cute when he gets made at his pedals, i just stay back and let him figure it out. Believe me, I want to run to him and help him up every time he falls down but I know I can't. But he is so proud!

Sad day

Well today was Timmy's last day at Little Lambs. I did okay, I got emotional after I dropped him off this morning, what can you say one of Darius Rutker's (sorry for the spelling) songs cam on the radio about "it won't be like this for long." I did my usual grocery shopping this morning and then headed back to Little lambs for Timmy's party. They were watching a movie, Madagascar 2. The party was fun. They had a good time playing afterwards. I am not going to lie deep down I was so sad. He has been going to Little Lambs for 4 years, since he was 2 and I am so comfortable there and he is too. I know for him I need to be strong and not be sad that he starts elementary school next year. I need to look at how long we have to do fun things before he starts back to his new school. This is the end of preschool and the beginning of 5 fun filled years at Lynn Haven Elementary. I am just having a pity party today so please bear with me....

WOW!

Wow! It has been a long time since my last blog...what have I been doing???Well, my computer was down last week for 4 days and I was totally lost. I used Terry's computer but it just wasn't the same. I guess I should have been glad that he has his own computer that I was able to use.

Thursday night Timmy had his graduation from Little Lambs, the real thing this year. I got very emotional Thursday morning when I was talking to him about it. Each age group sang a few songs and When Timmy came out in his cap and gown they asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said a construction builder. He is a mess!

Timmy had closing ceremonies on Friday night for T-ball and got the cutest trophy. He was so excited! Saturday his coach had a pool party for the team and that was fun too! They swam and played on one of those fun water slides. Timmy can't swim yet but he put on a life jacket and got to jump off the diving board...he thought he was hot stuff. We were busy last week with his events it flew by.

My cousin and her husband and their baby in her tummy are staying in Sandestin, they are from Arkansas. I hope the weather is nice for them the rest of the week, today has been pretty cloudy, but at least no rain! I think she said she was going shopping today! Fun Fun!
Well, Timmy is still napping so I am going to watch some TV....talk to ya soon! :-)
