Emotional week!

Well, I have to say that I am not having a good week so far. School starting is getting closer, 27 days away counting today. I feel like such a goof for being this emotional about it but I can't help it. He is our baby and it has flew by! When people tell you to enjoy them they grow up fast, believe them they are right! We still need to get his school clothes and school supplies so I think when we do that it will be fun, he can also pick out his backpack. Well this is all I have for today, please say a pray for me, I don't want Timmy to pick up on how I feel. He already knows but I want to get over this feeling!

Busy week....

Well where do I start. Last week was a busy one. We went out to eat at Outback for Timmy's birthday with Grandpa Terry and Papa & Gramma. Tuesday was Timothy's actual birthday and he got to open his present early that morning and then we had lunch with Gramma at Mosley. By the way we also had swim lessons M-TH at 11:00. Wednesday at church they had cupcakes for his birthday and sang happy birthday. Then on Friday we surprised Timmy with Terry being off and going to Shipwreck Island. And then finally we had his party on Saturday and he had a blast. So we have been a little busy lately. This week is pretty low key. I have some appointments everyday except Thursday, but that is okay. Today we took the blazer in for a few thing that needed to be fixed, it is still under warranty so that is nice. So Timmy and I are stranded here at the house!
I am okay about Timmy turning 6. I know he has to grow up but I can't help thinking he should be still 2 or 3 years old. Time flies too fast for me. I have been in a blah mood lately, last week mostly because he was turning 6 and starting school in a little over a month, my gosh they are all so close together. Long time since a post...

Hello! Wow it has been awhile since my last post. We left on the 29th for Mississippi to see my grandparents and we also visited with my cousin and her little boy. We left on the 30th and drove to my cousin's new house and Will and Timmy had a blast playing together. We went shopping Monday afternoon and then we ate at an awesome Mexican restaurant called Cinco De Mayo. I was a little stingy with my chips! I ended up finding a great price on Timmy's party stuff (napkins, balloons, silverware) So Tuesday we headed back to my grandmother's and put away some peas and butterbeans. My grandpa has a farm with lots of veggies. I got to have some home grown fried okra. Thursday we headed to Meridian and went to Belk's and then to the mall and of course to Cracker Barrell for brunch. We headed back to PC on Friday morning. I enjoyed my visit but at the same time wanted to be home. I really wish I lived closer to my grandmother but that is just not possible. I just cherish the time we do have together.

Well Timmy has started his second round of swim lessons, he is doing much better knowing the material ahead of time. We have that M-Th @ 11:00 for two weeks. Well I go for now, I hope all is well with your families...

This is the day that the Lord has made.....

Good morning! Yesterday we tried to go to Frank Brown water park but the kiddie pool was closed. So we came home, Timmy wasn't feeling well anyway and I cleaned. That is what I should have been doing anyway on Mondays. But we have a fun day planned ahead. We are going to call Frank Brown and see if the kiddie pool is open, if it isn't we are going to the jetty's(state park) Terry said I could get a pass for there so I am excited! I told Timmy we would go over to the gulf side and play some. He loves the rocks and of course they make me nervous! I just love the beach and water. I'm not sure what I'd do if we lived somewhere else, it is just beautiful.

I am starting to get a little nervous about him starting school. We still have 2 months but this summer is flying by this year. Usually it just creeps along. I called yesterday to find out what Lynn Haven's colors were for Timmy's shirts. I know he has to grow up but it is still hard for me. In the last month he has learned to ride his bike without training wheels and he knows how to tie his shoe too. I helped him with his bike and Terry taught him to tie his shoes. It is nice to share responsibility. Well, I guess I'll go for now everyone have a great day :-)

Yeah! Tomorrow is Friday.......

Good morning. I am up bright and early today. I actually woke up with my alarm clock. I try to get at least one cup of coffee in before Timmy wakes up. I try too. Today is the last day of swim lessons, Timmy has done great but he won't pass the level II to move to Level III. I want to put him in again but the class starts on the 22nd and he would miss the week of the 29th since we are leaving for Mississippi for the week. I don't know!

Anyway I think Timmy is having a fun summer. We went to Grandpa Terry's pool on Monday and Wednesday and on Tuesday we went to the beach with some friends. Timmy caught a hermit crab in his friends net too. He loves the rocks, they make me nervous. I don't know what we will do in Mississippi with no beach! Well I guess I'll go for now. What a great week...

Well, today we are headed back to Swim lessons. Timmy is taking them at the college this time. They are very nice and it is for 2 weeks, we are on the 3rd day of week 1. He is doing great. He can go under the water without hacking and coughing! We are going to stay after the lessons and swim a little. He is so excited about it. We went to Grandpa Terry and Grandma Kim's on Monday after the lessons.

We are having VBS at Shady Grove this week. Last night was the 1st night. It was fun. I handle one of the movies that they watch. And I have the same groups throughout the week. There was one little boy that was so sweet, he just talked and talked. I am starting on Timmy's birthday party. I don't like to have last minute things to do so I am starting now. Actually it is only a month and a half away. We are having it the weekend after is birthday. His birthday falls on a Tues. this year. He is already excited about it!
Well I guess I'll go for now have a great day and remeber to smile :-)

Busy Bees!

We have been busy bees and the summer and it just started last week. I clean house our house on Mondays(most of the time) and this week I actually finished everything in one day! Go me! Tuesday Timmy got to go see Up at the Grand theater at Pier Park with his Aunt Shell and niece Katie. I had an appt so Timmy got to spend time with them while I went to my appt.

I have found my hairdresser! She sent me a litter yesterday and I was on the phone ready to make an appt, which was today at 10:00. The place was great and kid friendly. They had a play area for the kids and a DVD player for the older kids. That was a good thing because Timmy was with me.

I just have to say wow he is growing up fast. He amazes me everyday with some of the things he says. He says right now he doesn't want to go to Elementary school but I know that he will change his mind after it really gets going. Right now he is home with me and loving it. I am trying to soak up every minute of it because it won't be like this for long (like the song). We have church tonight so I guess I'd better straighten up our house a little and put away some things.
