End of the year...

Good morning or almost afternoon! It has been too long since I last blogged. We are good. I am trying to keep our house cleaner or straighten up more. I usually clean on Mondays but I have been trying to vacuum and pick up more often. Terry is good he is calling a big game tonight at Rutherford but it is supposed to be on TV so we will be watching it from afar on the couch. Church is keeping us on our toes. We stayed last Sat. night for a graduation birthday party for two of our youth. This Sat night we are staying up there for 5th Sunday breakfast! Which is yummy!

Timmy is almost finished with school. He gets out on the 8th of June. They are having there play and party on Fri the 4th of June. Next week is fun week, they are out for Memorial Day and then everyday they bring something from home to share with the other kids. I just can't believe he has finished K-5. It seem like yesterday was his 1st day! I got very emotional in the car after I dropped him off. He doesn't want me to give him a kiss inside the classroom! It is so sad for me but I don't want him to see me cry Life is hard sometimes but I need to remind myself of the fun thing we have to look forward to as he grows up. I am looking forward to going to the beach and the water park this summer and Timmy is so ready! Well, I'll go for now. Hopefully it won't take me so long to blog...

Been awhile...

It has been a while since I last posted anything. We have been busy as usual, with church, T-ball and Terry's games. Terry and I found out this week that we are going to the CMA's in Vegas on the 16th-19th. I am so excited, I have never been to Vegas and I am excited about flying for my second time! We are going to get to see a concert from Blake Shelton and Sugarland. It is an all expense paid trip from Dr. Pepper.

Timmy started T-ball on the 13th and has games on Sat. mornings. He is on the Cubs team and is having a ball! He is playing T-ball this year and then next year he will play AA. He is doing great, he is learning to read so good, I am so proud of him!

Terry's games have started and we have been to a couple of them. It has been so cold at night. I am going to a Casting Crowns concert on Friday night and Timmy is going to stay with my Mom and Dad since Terry has a game the same night. Mom is going to take Timmy to some of the game. Timmy has a T-ball game at 9:00 Sat. morning, boy is it going to come early!

Maddie is doing better, she doesn't poop as much as she used too, she still needs training. And she like to mess with Priss. I think eventually she will settle down with that.

Fun week...

This week has been a pretty fun one! I am working on our Spring Fling, getting parents signed up for times to work our booth and getting items donated. We haven't had too much success with that yet, but it will come! I will be making some more phone calls tonight, hopefully.

Monday I cleaned and finished it all on Monday (go me) that doesn't happen often. Tuesday I had met with my MOPS group we had a good time. We also made baggage tags, diaper tags, etc. Wed. I copied CD's for Terry and helped in Timmy's room, they made rainbows with the dots. They were very interesting! All the kids are just so unique. I made it to the gym on Monday and today and my plan is to go tomorrow too! Now that I am through with physical therapy I am back!!! Today I got all my grocery shopping and even got a shower, whoo-hoo! I stopped by Kohl's to look at their fiesta and they have a green but it is not shamrock green so I am hoping to meet my mom there and she what she thinks! A second opinion is always good, especially my mom's!

Saturday we have Timmy Opening ceremonies and they are having a carnival from 3-7. We will be getting there about 5:00 or so. Timmy will be excited. He is also getting to go to a golf tournament with Terry Sat morning which will tickle his fancy! Everyone have a great weekend and I'll blog next week!

Glad this week is coming to an end...

Good Morning! Wow is it cold outside or what. I thought we lived in Florida with mild winters! At least it isn't raining. Well this week is finally coming to an end. For some reason it has been a long week for me. I had lunch with one of my best old friends this week and she is doing great! We met at Applebee's on the beach and enjoyed some girl time. It was nice to catch up on life.

Last weekend was our annual "Hope for the Heart" women's weekend. Me and 6 other women from the church stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn here in PC. The weekend started Friday night an then carried over the next morning on Saturday! We had a blast. After it was over on Friday night 5 of us went to Chili's for some food and fellowship, which was a lot of fun! Then we went back to the church on Sat. and it lasted until around 2:00. I had to leave early to go to my sister-n-law's wedding shower. Wow, I can not believe they are getting married in less than 2 months! Time has flown by... Well that was my weekend and Timmy and Terry had bonding time on Sat. while I was gone.

Timmy is getting ready to start his T-ball games. They started practice last week and there 1st game in like the 2nd week in March, I believe. He is excited, right now he has practice on Mon and Thurs night and when the games start they will change to 1 a week practices. This year his team is the Cubs. I'll post pictures when he starts!

Oh, this morning Timmy decided he wanted to wear his suit coat, so here is his picture of him dressing himself!

Wow...time flies!

I can't believe it has been so long since I blogged. What have I been doing! We are getting ready for Timmy's class Valentine's party which is on Friday morning. Everyone that had signed up has already brought everything except the grapes! I have a meeting on Thursday afternoon about the Spring Fling which I have heard is a big deal. It is at the end of April. They made the cutest Valentine's boxes that look like elephants, most everyone has already brought in their Valentine's which will make Friday easier!
Last weekend on of the girls at our church got married so we stayed in Marianna. We ended up staying at a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott which was very nice. Then we had a birthday party after church and after that we had the Superbowl! Even though my team didn't win, it was worth it for the commercials! Well, we are home this weekend and really don't have much to do which is nice. I may see if my mom wants to get a pedicure on Saturday!

Great weekend...

Good morning! what a beautiful day in Florida! I think the freezing cold weather is gone, hopefully! Well last weekend we left on Friday and met some friends from church at their house for dinner. We also stayed in a hotel in Marianna and left Saturday morning to go to Tallahassee. We stayed with my father-n-law and some friends that live in Tallahassee. We went to the Florida State vs. West Virginia basketball game and had a blast! It was a lot of fun the game was at night and it was wet and cold! Timmy had a great time and that is all that matters! So then Sunday morning we left for Grand Ridge, it was closer for us to leave from Tallahassee then our own home!

Timmy has had some adjustments going back to school! He was off Monday for MLK day and he will be out of school this Friday too. so next week we get back to the normal schedule and the adjustments for that week. It should even out next week. I really want him to like school and want to go. He enjoys it once he gets there, it's just getting him there! He is doing great with his reading, it amazing me to watch a kid learn to read! God is surely good! I will post some pictures from the game!

Back to school...

Well, this day is going good. I dropped Timmy off at school this morning and then headed to the gym. Today was my 1st day of working out and eating right for the year. I did good with the working out part but eating healthy wasn't as good! Timmy was sad last night because he had to start back to school today. He was a lot better this morning and he was smiling when I left him at school, which is a good sign. I was a little sad too! Then I cleaned the house, dusted, vacuumed, and cleaned the bathrooms. I still have to mop the floor this afternoon after I pick Timmy up. I went out to Target and Walmart and found one sweatshirt that was gray, I was looking for a red or blue but they didn't have his size. I guess I need to be grateful that I found one! And then I got myself Taco Bell, which is one of my cravings once a month (if you know what I mean) I tried that 5 layer burrito, had to before I officially start my diet! It was delicious! Well I guess I'll go for now and will update soon...
