Good day

Today has been a good day. I worked out this morning and then showered and all that good stuff. timmy goes to Preschool at 9:00, they had pajama day so he got to wear his PJ's. They also watched a movie and had popcorn. He is such a little blessing. I had a doctor's appt today @ 9:40 which went well. This afternoon he is napping and after he wakes up we are going too make brownies to take to church tonight.
We have a missionary that the church supports speaking tonight and we are having a covered dish supper. I really enjoy Wed. nights. The drive is a pickle but when we get there it is great! Everyone are so nice to us. So please say a prayer for travel mercies. This one is short and sweet.

Fun Weekend and Monday

Good afternoon! Well Timmy and I did get to see Madagascar 2 Friday night, it was pretty funny. And of course we had popcorn at the movie theater! (Yum, Yum) Saturday Terry had a Field Clinic for his umpiring so we went to Gramma's house. Then we went to Sports Authority (Timmy and Terry's favorite place) and to Walmart. Terry got done early with the Field Clinic so we met him for lunch at Beef O' Brady's (one of our favorite places to eat). I did eat fried mushrooms and I drank sweet tea but I had a grilled chicken salad which was yummy!
On Sunday the drive to and from church was good. And after we got back to town we went to Gramma and Papa's like always. Mom usually cooks lunch and then we don't eat dinner. (or at least I don't) Usually Timmy eats at Kidzone on Sunday nights.

Today was a good day, I had a lot to do for me. I went to the bank before I took Timmy to school after that I ran home and took a shower, Then I went to Sam's for water and blank CD's for Terry's sermons. Next I went to Walmart for some paint brushes. Came home straightened up a little. It was a busy morning but well worth it!

Yeah! It's Friday

This afternoon we had a let down. I had promised Timmy all week that I would take him to see Madagascar 2 at the dollar theater. The newspaper said to log onto www.carmike.com for times etc. So of course I do that and the times were 1:05 and 4:05. So we show up at 12.55 and they are CLOSED. They start selling tickets at 6:30 and the movie starts at 7:05! So imagine telling a 5 year old that he can't watch the movie we have looked forward to see all week. We left the mall and I promised him we would come back tonight for the 7:05 movie! So I will let you know how it was tomorrow.

Before the movie disappointment I cleaned Mom and Dad's house and then went to workout. Oh also Timmy got a haircut. The lady that has been cutting it for past 6 months is no longer at the Lynn Haven Supercuts so, a new lady cut it this time. She was nice and did a great job too.

Oh! We tried the diapers on our Chihuahua last night and they wouldn't stay on!, She needed the XS. After the 4th try I gave up and just put towels down where she like to wet and picked up her water bowl.

For some reason today feels like Friday. Terry called this morning to say that Timmy's preschool would be closed today because there was no heat! So Timmy and I did the grocery shopping together. He asked for a certain box of cookies and that was it. I was proud of him. I go to two groccery stores so at the first one he rode in the buggy car and got the cookies. At the second store he walked and I was so proud of him, he got some skittles.
We also ate lunch with my mom (Gramma). We were going to have lunch alone but with the preschool being closed that was not an option. We had a good time. Food wise I do pretty good by getting a grilled salad but I ate the bread and drank sweet tea. Anyway it was good!
Back to our dog wetting the floor. We picked up some diapers today and plan on using them tonight. I am anxious to see how she does. I hope everyone has a nice afternoon.

Today has been a good day. I worked out this morning, I usually cut it short on Wednesdays. This morning I helped in Timmy's room which was fun. They are on the letter "O" so they put sequences and eyes on their octopus. And then they had Chapel which I always enjoy! I think the kids get something out of it too. I usually leave around snack time because then they go to recess and then it is time to go home. I finally got the car washed, it looks a little better without all that dirt on it.

During Timmy's nap I folded clothes and watched Rumor Has It with Kevin Costner and Jennifer Anniston, it was pretty good. My hubby isn't really into "chick flicks".Oh! I finally cleaned the carpet with our Bissell cleaner, I am enjoying it while it lasts. Our Chihuahua likes to wet in a certain spot and I have threaten that if she does it again I am getting her a diaper to wear at night! And I am! This afternoon we will be on the road to Grand Ridge for Wednesday night at church so please say a prayer. Talk to you soon.

Good day

Good afternoon! Today is a much better day than yesterday. Yesterday I didn't feel too good, throat was scratchy and I just felt yuck! I worked out this morning, which that helps me to feel better. After dropping Timmy off at Little Lambs I came home and got dressed. I had a dermatology check up @ 10:15. The office staff is so nice there and they were slammed with people in the waiting room but it didn't take long at all. I also talked to my grandmother on the phone which was nice. I hadn't spoke with her in a while, she lives in Mississippi.

I picked Timmy up a few minutes early from preschool and we came home and ate lunch together while watching the movie, Over the Hedge. He is napping right now so I am going to go ahead and mop the floor and I'll vacuum after he wakes up. I hope all is having a good day and I'll check-in tomorrow.

Good day/Emotional day

Yesterday was a good day! We were able to make my husbands jelly cake for his birthday. It sounds a little strange but it actually is good. Timmy helped by cracking the eggs for me! He's a pretty good little helper. Last night he spent the night at Gramma and Papa's so Terry and I went out to Longhorns for his dinner birthday meal. It as good. They have good Texas Fries for an appetizer. I had chopped steak with mushrooms and onion flakes, Terry has a steakand fries. Of course we were stuffed and couldn't eat it all so I brought 1/2 of mine home.
Today was a big day for Timmy, Terry and me. Terry signed Timmy up for T-ball. I have been just a little emotional! He is growing up way to fast. I know he has too grow up but I am not taking it very well and I haven't for a while. When he turned 4 years old it started. I started getting emotional at birthday parties and different things he does through out the year. I also don't want him to know I am sad. Another event was I went to a baby shower today for a friend and it was emotional draining also. So I took a nap for about 2 hours and I feel a lot better. I need to pray more.

Today was a pretty productive day. I did my usual grocery shopping for the week this morning. This morning I couldn't get motivated to workout so I skipped that. Timmy's preschool was having snow day today at 10:30 so I wanted to be there for that. I've attached some pictures from today. The kids had a good time, I don't think the snow cooperated the way everyone wanted it too. We usual go to Chick-fila on Fridays but we went today instead. Tomorrow I have a few extra errands to run after I workout, clean my parents house and then shower and get dressed. We now have an HD(high definition) box so we can watch movies and some channels are HD also. My husband will be thrilled tonight. His birthday is the 16th so Timmy and I have a cake to bake tomorrow. I have a few things to do around the house before Timmy wakes up from his nap.

A Fun Day

Today has been a fun day. I help in Timothy's preschool room on Wednesday mornings. This week they are on the letter "N" so they made bird nests. Also, they go to Chapel on Wednesdays and that is usually interesting to hear the kids questions. This afternoon we will drive to Grand Ridge, FL to our church. My husband is the pastor of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. It is a lot of fun! The drive gives me and Terry a chance to catch up on what is going on. The bad part of having a church out of town is how late we get home. But it is worth it!
Timmy is taking his nap right now so I need to straighten up the living room and I want to clean our carpet with a Bissell cleaner but I think I will wait and do that another day.

Hello

Hi! My name is Carrie and this is my first blog. So bear with me. I am married to my wonderful husband Terry. In March we will celebrate our 10th anniversary. We have a son named Terry "Timothy" Tatum III and he is five years old. I enjoy spending time with my family, scrap booking (when I have time), going to the beach or water parks. Since Timothy's preschool was out for Christmas break we are getting back into our normal routine. This week is much better than last week. We also have a 14 year old female Chihuahua that I got as a Christmas present in 1994. Her hearing is getting worse and she can't jump on the couch, chair etc. Yesterday she wet on one of Timothy's pillows. I was so upset with her. I know she is getting old but come on! Well everyone have a nice afternoon.
